Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I'm starting with something easy - and it was already in my bookshelf so I'm fairly sure I've read it before but it will be a quick read to get myself off the mark. Going to start as soon as I've finished the book I am currently reading - The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo - not sure which year that was published in but I suspect I will re-read it when I get to that year

Good idea 😄 I'll have a look at Fantastic fiction and see what looks good to read. Going to be starting at 1978.

I've read the first book on my list, and plan to put a short review on the Official Unofficial Book Discussion thread - I tend to gallop through and not think about what I've read (possibly why I do so much re-reading), so doing this might help me somehow.

2015 next: Night Music: Nocturnes Volume 2 by John Connolly.

This is a very good idea indeed. No idea of how to go about it but will have a think. Will not resttict myself to boring fiction as real life is more interesting.

I'm definitely avoiding boring fiction. If I start to read some, I'll choose something else! ;-)
