Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I thought The Name of The Rose was great too....as for that list earlier...a big fat 0 from me, why waste time trying to read something you know you almost certainly will not enjoy.

Really quite enjoying infinite jest now. Can only bear a few pages at a time and still only 360 pages in but glad I persevered now. I reserve the right to change my mind over the next 360 pages

I just have 2003 and 2004 left and have just ordered my 2003 book
I’m no help for 1983 I’m afraid - the one I ended up reading was awful and I only finished it because i couldn’t face having to find another!
