Different sort of quality session for me.
Had a few days off and am a bit creaky in the backand shoulders from decorating so delighted to have actually got out in the fresh air - but was a bit disciplined and jogged 4 miles very easy and actually kept hr in about the right place too.

Thanks Dipps... I believe you've Beachied.
You are Queen of Quality v Quantity recognition so I'm not sure how you'd classify today*. But file under FUN I hope. xxx
*could be elements of both?

Thanks B. I absolutely love them. It's the same person who I've done bootcamp with since 2016 so she knows me really well, and she knows to focus the sessions so that they will help my running. I'm very lucky to have her.

This might take a few posts.....
I completed my three part training session this morning as according to the plan my coach has set for me. Track (inc hurdles and long jump) and finally an approx 45 minute gym session.
I feel the gym session was the quality component of today. With two hours track beforehand I was not exactly fresh for it, but track athletes tend to do the technical and running sections first.
It was hard going especially as I got to the end but I still think it was quality. Why?

Several on the thread (inc you endurance athletes) are clocking bootcamp/weights/gym as quality sessions and I am interested as to why. I mean me too... but why?
I 'think' I know. And it's not just because they're different, or just because they're hard work.
