Thing here is - yes it's a war but it's a war that at the moment Israel actually cannot win. They have no viable way of putting troops on the ground in Iran to ensure that the Ayatollah is dead or that any Uranium processing facilities are destroyed. So it's just bombing. What are they going to do continue carpet bombing Iran until no human life is detectable ? Also Israel lacks the munitions to destroy the facilities from the air, even the American 'bunker busters' are not guaranteed to get the job done, so short of turning the country to glass how could 'victory' be assured? On the plus side Iran will have a load less drones to send to Russia this week |

I thought that too, about the drones. If Iran is firing them at home they can’t send them to Russia to use against Ukraine.

bbc.co.uk I've not really heard of Vicky Foxcroft before, but I like her. Shame my local MP doesn't have a backbone. |

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) blamed "unhinged rhetoric" for Rep. Max Miller (R-OH) being run off the road Thursday morning while he was in Washington, D.C. "What happened to Max this morning is yet another outrageous example of unhinged rhetoric inspiring unstable people to threaten and attack elected officials who are serving their communities," Johnson posted on X. "We must turn down the temperature in this country." Another Republican who doesn't understand the word "irony". |

He means the unhinged rhetoric of Donald Trump right? Speaking of the man baby remember him yabbering about Europe shouldn't be relying on the US for defence? Story on the Beeb about US fighter bombers arriving at Lakenheath enroute to the middle East. Maybe now he'll understand (spoiler he won't) if you want to project global power you'll need the infrastructure which you then have to protect. The dickhead. |
