Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Results were slower coming through this time.

I was "Tail Runner" for the first time at the Brockenhurst parkrun. It's a whole new perspective running at the back of the field, and being lapped.

Being lapped is nothing new to some of us - it's just a question of how far can you get before you hear those rapid footsteps :-)

The server had a snit this morning - took our kit home and finally sent Ipswich's results through at about 3:45. The majority of results were done much earlier than that though!

Corby parkrun today. Lovely course and friendly marshals. Only my 15th parkrun, but 10th different venue :)

I am always lapped. I challenge myself to get further round the course before the first runner laps me!

I told ds2 he had finally improved when we stopped getting lapped :) It must depend on how many laps the course is though. If it's 3 laps then surely being lapped is very likely? Whereas ours is a 2 lap course, so if you're under 30 minutes you're pretty safe usually.

Not so Lazytoad!
Just thought I would pop in and report back on Keswick pr, lively out and back course not flat but not hilly as such. Run on an old railway track, run briefing done off the station platform. Lovely friendly volunteers and team, even on a showery day it's one of the prettiest pr I have run.

Dewsbury is four laps of suburban park (one short lap and three long ones) - up the hill to the war memorial four times and round the duck pond three.
