Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Did the pharmacist say anything? I know after the shortages a few years back they are allowed to substitute if one is unavailable.

No; it was all packaged up, I just collected it and didn't realise until I got home.

So. At the third time of asking I managed to get a consulation with the GP. An admin person called me to clarify what I want (a reissue of my repeat prescription because I've moved) and said someone would call me. I've just had a text message from the GP to say that they have issued the cream but because I only said the HRT was helping 'somewhat' they've only prescribed a month and I have to call and request a callback to discuss. Why couldn't they call me today? FFS. I've been trying to get the prescription for 3 weeks now. Luckily I have enough. It was the standard depression and anxiety questionnaire and there is nowhere to put that the reason I am down and anxious some of the days is because of life events. FFS again

I don't know why they have to make it so difficult Linds. Even if the depression/anxiety is reactive it doesn't mean that it isn't harder to deal with because you're menopausal.

After jumping through administrative hoops too dull to describe I finally got to speak to the Clinical Pharmacist this morning, who was lovely, agreed w me that my MH symptoms were likely reactive, said I seemed to have good insight, and renewed my HRT prescription. And breathe.

Glad you got it sorted. Like LMH said, why does it have to be so difficult?
