Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

No need to duck Doc and thanks Scribbler. A friend & I were discussing food intolerances. It’s the cost of Zoe that puts me off.

Hopefully logging food will show a trigger, I ate a lot less bread over Xmas but I also wasn’t eating normal meals. Although severe bloating isn’t unusual neither.

@geordiegirl tinkering around with food is fine, and even quite spectacular bloating does often end up being attributed to diet and/or stress, but do see about getting your digestive system investigated.

What actually IS the bloating?
Is it gas or fluid?
I sometimes get it, can't see my own feet.

It's your nerves https://www.gastrojournal.org/article/S0016-5085(51)80088-X/pdf It was called "abdominal proptosis" when I was a medical student ;)

(Partly gas, you'd be in no doubt if you had intestinal/peritoneal cavity fluid shifts sufficient to swell you up visibly, and partly relaxed abdominal wall muscles.)
