Today's run was stonkingly sexily savagely sweet :o) First ever race I've been in the lead of - and I do mean first ever - never at school, at cub scouts or since... Coming out of the swim, 34 people were behind me. With 2 kilometers of the run done, 34 people were still behind me. And at the end of the 5km, only 2 people were in front. :o) :o) :o) :o) :o) :o) :o) :o) :o) :o) :o) :o) :o) :o) :o)

Have a new found pity for the poor souls who reguarly find themselves at the front of races - it's a very odd feeling having no-one to chase but knowing so many peeps are chasing you (but I guess those souls who are used to being up the front don't really need to worry so much about getting overtaken as I do!)
