Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Wish I had had a DNR today :-(

Went out and my legs felt tighter than a badgers arse and twice as heavy! Then got cramps in my left calf about 3 miles in :-( As it was a loop with no shortcuts had to hobble round as best I could to end!

Worst run in ages (possibly ever) and only did 6 miles and 750ft climbing!

Think I might have another rest day tomorrow.

Sounds awful Judderman. You toughed your way through it. Good on ya.

I'm following 10 miler plan: Warm up, 3 x 4 minutes fast, with 4 minute, then 3 minute, then 2 minute recoveries, 10 minutes easy. Weather was the best so far this year. Warm, humid, and sunny; broke into a sweat just lacing my shoes.

Thanks for (( )). I need them. Apart from having a very stressful week, the only run I have managed in the last three weeks was on Saturday when I went out with my lovely daughter, which was nice, but I was really uncomfortable and don't feel like my back is ever going to be fixed.:-(

Sounds like lots of people had a tough run today.
I did a hard, but good run :-) Intervals up a hill off road on the wet grass, 11 of them in fact.

I can't believe I did less than 3 miles in total !!! Still it's going training for fell races. And I ran later in the day, and up a big hill so I avoided the heat.
