Ultra Kazzaaaaah!!
Just logged my splits and am thrilled to see how little the difference the wind made to my run. Apart from the last couple of miles where I obviously pushed my luck with that last gel!

Well you are a proper pro - I think if I did23 miles I would be in the hospital...
Mind you as everyone says atleast I'm out there doing it... Could be sitting in vegging in front of the tv!
Do you look at rw site? My story is on homepage at mo... Hehe... Quite proud of myself!

I have to say I'm a fetch addict now, I love it... People on here so friendly and supportive. If it wasn't for them I don't think I'd be still doing it. Its hard as my friends don't really share same interest so I can't talk to them about running. They say 2 miles!!! Is that all... I'd like to see them do it...

I like both, for different reasons, but know what you mean about how nice it is to feel like you're among kindred spirits.

It was amazing... had tears in my eyes crossing line cos I can't believe I did it!
Goal this year is to do GSR... Maybe a 10k middle of the year.. Don't want to rush into anything too quickly. I've alot of support from people here and they all say take it slow, no hurry... I always thought it was rubbish just being able to do 1 or 2 miles but now I know everyone starts at the same place...
Anyway been nice chatting, I have the joys of tescos to look forward to and a roast to cook for my Mum as soon as I get back... GREAT!
Enjoy the rest of your day...

Rather nice actually. A bit of it with John L and RGP, another bit with Bertie and RGP and another bit with Bertie. Followed by a nice bike ride. The wind was a teeny weeny bit annoying there were lots of Marcelle Marcaeu impressions.

It was cold and windy out there but glad it was done this morning as this afternoon is much worse. Lorraine ran very well

fifi, certainly no need to rush yourself - there's more than enough races out there! Take it easy - you're less likely to injure yourself and lose motivation that way.
