Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Two runs today. The 1st was a little unexpected at 10:30am. I would describe it as a 100 metre speed and agility dash. The lad who I arrested was in a flat. So I told him in no uncertain terms that he was under arrest. As I reached for his wrists to place the handcuffs on he decided not to play to my rules. We had a little struggle and he got away, out of the flat, down some stairs, along a street, across a road, over some grass, through a bush and behind some flats........................

...............followed closely by me. He still ended up arrested and was sat in a cell when I went off duty at 16:00.

The 2nd run was planned. I decided to attempt running with the dog. Never done it before but we managed 39 mins off road, split into 2 runs, with ball throwing before, during and after. The dogs asleep now, bless.

Lovely! 7.6 miles in the countryside on a nice and fairly warm spring day.

An early start for me out at 6am for 5.8 miles typically for me on such an early run I started at about nine minute miling and finished at about sevens as my legs gradually woke up.

Right that's made my mind up - today will be DNR. I'm wrapping myself in cotton wool and will go for a walk instead.
