Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Ultra Kazzaaaaah!!
((sb))

Mine was better than yesterday thankfully. Lots of niggly aches and pains but nothing that suprising with a mara in the offing.

Need to work out more sensible HRM threshholds. The old 220 minus your age thing has never worked for me. Have pretty low RHR which shoots up really rather high almost as soon as I start exercising. Always has done, just natural for me.

Kaz the 220 minus your age is a reasonable guide for most, there are various other formulas which claim to be more accurate but the only true way is to either be tested or test yourself.

I did a self test I vaguely remember it being two 800 metres as fast as possibly with something like 3 minutes recovery between. What I do remember though was hitting 193 which was 6 higher than in theory I should have reached.

I know there's a similar one on RW. If I get chance to do it before Glen gets back I will otherwise I'll do his test next week.
