Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Johnjn will be doing some nice long slow runsnow before the GSR too. Talked to Gobi who reckonned I should be trying to get a 2 hour run in at a pace where I can talk (just). Then when it comes to the 10miles I will blast it. Well that's what I am going to try and do anyway..... longer and slower to get my legs used to the time in action.

Intervals - ot done for a while and 'twas hard out there troops. I took one for the team though. had to walk more than half the recoveries but managed all the reps at 6:45pace which is 30s faster than 5k pace for me. Meant to do 7mm but too early and body and brain were in different timezones.

Whats up postie?

my run in this morning was great, lovely cool morning , sun burst thru at 3 miles but it was still coolio, 5 miles in i passed 2 young guys, one was carrying a 1/2 drunk bottle of bacardi and riding on a kids push along car other was carrying 2 bottles, 1 vodka 1 wine, both half empty also, clearly Edinburgh festival has kicked in big time, pubs all close at 3 and nightclubs at 5....

Had a lovely short run in the drizzle last night, just to break myself back in, much more enjoyable than the sunshine....

I was tired after yesterday's early morning hard run and intervals in the evening. Didn't go out early this morning but will do a slow run with Heidi to recover tonight :-)
The rain was great last night, helped me with the 1K intervals Clums :-)

Crikey SB, round the clock binge by the sounds of it they had then...

Not surprised you were tired Gobi.
