Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Beautiful 12K easy run through the light snow. Its great to see its getting light-ish by 7.10 to 7.15. What a pleasure after months of darkness. Spring is coming!!!!!!

5.6 mile recovery run.

Had major work keeping my heart rate down with all the slippping about in the slush. Thankfully the snowy sections were grippy & soft underfoot.

Amazed I didn't get a snowball in the head from all the heavily armed school children who were patrolling the streets like mini-tanks.

Running down a national speed limit road with narrow footpath & a lot of standing water has not been the cleverest thing I've done recently. Legs got soaked by 3 cars that couldn't have avoided me even if they had wanted to and a 'Barclays banker' driving a BMW X5 who I've sure aimed for the oily mixture of oil, salt & black snow in the road gutter.

Forced into donning the man-tights again today & they are perfect for these conditions as they keep me warm & don't get water logged from the snow / rain. Not feeling as self conscious in them now.

Go Keiran! I'm going to head off up the Thames, or see how lovely the Great Park is looking - anything to avoid traffic!

After a year of wearing trackies while running in a Muslim country, coming back and wearing tights agin was a bit of a shock. Very Elizabethan! But I felt a little Victorian....

last nights run felt good but i'm still obsessing about times. Feeling positive for sunday although after 8 miles out it's gonna feel like unknown territory.

haha Blunkett - "very Elizabethan"!!

Watch out for the crotch watching women. First they make eye contact, then they sneak a peak - no shame on them at all !!

Yes, but I do exactly the same to them.... ;-)

My ex told me that was the first thing that made her "notice" me at the club one night!
