Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Aquathlon - swim/run.

I wouldn't mind trying one of these, will have to look for an event close to me.

Nice runs today, went out for 3 miles at 6am, stopped raining just long enough, went to club this evening and did efforts, tried desperately to keep up with a fellow club member who is a bit faster than me, made me work v hard which was excellent, driving home from run I though mmmmmmmmmmmmmmp I could just enjoy another run now, but as OH was cooking dinner I thought I might be pushing my luck!!

I played roller Hockey and Ice for about 10 years oh and a little football, always good for an elbow in the face.

I also have removable teeth and have had my lip stitched back together.

I love sport, be fit be healthy

ps. My run this morning was OK, started a little slow and got slower when I fumbled with MP3 player as batteries died. Picked up well and finished with a mile in about 6.19. OK i guess.

I see, yes it's good isn't it to stay fit and healthy. Good job you run more than do the other stuff nowadays then eh?
Me, I just watch where I park now to avoid injury :-)

Having said that mind. I know a girl who is a brilliant 10K runner - typical times about 37-38. She just tripped on a race and smashed her teeth in that bad she needed surgery... she was wearing a brace at the time apparently - made a right mess! I hope she recovers quickly and it doesn't put her off running..

Yes I'd like to do a 6.19 mile. At the moment though I think I'd need a bike to do it on :-)
