Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Hmm, not as good as I wanted.

I over cooked it. I know! It was weird but I just didn't sort of realise until it was too late.

managed 45:36 unofficial for 10k so it's a minute slower than my PB.

Sorry to those who bet on me. I tried but it was not to be. I was 10 seconds per k too fast up to 5k and I ended up with a positive split ....

Still enjoyed it though. The course is deceptively hard.

My calves are VERY tight just now. I need them massaging I think. :-)

First 10K today. Missed the start due to world's clowest bag check, which was a bit surreal, but did ok. A tough course. I reckon over 50% was either going up or down. Maybe more. Happy with it.

Cheers Ian. I was quite pleasantly surprised with my time becuase, prior to the last two weeks, I did less than 100 miles in 6 weeks due to injury. I'm sure I can make a decent improvement on that next year.
