I ended up only doing just over 4 miles because I had to head for home in a hurry do to runner's trots. I could have gone back out again yes but the wind, cold and rain made me decide to have a nice hot shower and shepherd's pie instead :-)

Er I don't know Hendo - I NEVER run on dreadies anymore - the route I took was very flat and fairly easy, parts through Hyde Park (are you in London?) and it was just nice for me to push myself. To be honest its left me with the feeling that a half mara is no problem...

No I'm by the seaside BooBoo, hence the quite silly wind issues tonight. Different kind of wind issues to Ian though.

Half mara's aren't a problem really, only when you try to run them fast ;)

Yes Hoaxster, Hendo, it was a tad too windy with freezing horizontal rain.

Conditions far too inclement to bare my arse and try finding dock leaves etc.

I can see it now, slipping over, rolling down an embankment in the pitch black with headtorch flashing, liberally covering myself in my own poo like a dog eventually coming to a rest in some brambles, just as head torch decides to go out :-)
