Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

intervals

God bless the person on the interval thread who pointed out that you can set up the Garmin to do intervals. Never thought about it as only use it for time distance & pace & when i 1st got it putting my routes om Google Earth. Have only done mile reps since marathon training as that what the program recommendedre that I was measuring distance with the Garmin, tying bits of string on fence posts & stopping & starting it.

Now following the twin peaks prog in July RW which I started on before Dublin training & suits my time available & temperament. So today 4 x 800m with 2min rest all worked out by the Garmin & downloaded to show pace/rep. How fantastic. I am truly happy.

How easy is it to do customised intervals? i got the impression you enter it on the PC & download it onto the device.

Yes BM, that's probably the easiest way of doing it. You can build them on the device itself but it's a bit fiddly...

Drizzly and very blowy. I think my HR strap needs a new battery though. I seem to be getting (comparitively) very fast at a low HR. 65% for an average 9:16 pace in that wind can't be right. Can it?
