Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Riverside Runners 10k. Hot and bothered, forget PBs, it was just about getting round for me. Had a fantastic support team to throw lots of water on me at the end!

10 miles - was hot & sweaty. Last two miles felt tired, normally finish with a bit of a sprint but legs were gone. Enjoyed the cold drink at home!!!

Northumberland Coastal Marathon - amazing scenery - 26.2 of tracks, trails, grass, a castle and about 8 miles of beach running. Fantastic race - loved it from start to finish - a definite must do if you like off road marathons.

7 hot miles along the shore this morning. I had a nice break at the turn around point and sat and watched the water for a bit before going back.

Today was not a very good run. The garmin was playing up, and the initial plan was an easy 2 miles.

I reckon I averaged 7:30ish but felt tired and quite breathless towards the end. I'm still on track to hitting my 35 miles for the first week.
