Todays run was the first quick run I've done for a long time. I did the Leam Spa parkrun, which was nice, well organised, unlike me who couldn't get his bar code sorted. Interesting that my knee didn't put a complaint in, and that I was able to sustain a higher HR for a few miles, all my recent runs have been low HR training. So it bodes well for the future.

Cycled down to the club today and did a nice out and back run with a negative split. The pace was quite fast but I found it very comfortable which fills me with confidence for tomorrows 10k. Was thinking top 10 finish, now I'm looking for top 9

Very pleasant - just under 7 miles with Mr W and a friend. We're away in Norfolk for the weekend, so it was nice to have a change of scenery.

5 miles with very unwilling legs today, but glad I did it.

Last "long run" before Athens next weekend, a steady and very easy 8 miles with my beloved Philippa.

Rather nice Dave Denton Surrey Classic 10k. Managed a small pb, which was a nice surprise!

Around 7 miles xc in new NB trail shoes. They feel a tad firm, even on the grass. Very little achilles/shin soreness though, so can't be too bad. Almost makes me want to do some fell running again. The dog still can't get over some stiles - idiot. Even the sheep stare at him.
