Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

A sunny 8 miles of road running (lots of mental strength required!).

:) Yup, probably best I don't sit around and mope about bad days, LJ! Road running is rather dull but leaping out of the way of speedy cars forced me to keep my wits about me at least...

Nice. Sunny, warm with a cooling breeze. 8 miles at avg 9:15 pace. Last couple were tough, but some nice runners saying hello and singing Blaydon races in my head kept me going.

Enjoyed it. Got out in the Wolds on road at 8 minute miles with a phone full of tunes and just ran. Then went off-road a bit at about 8.15s. Nice and warm. All good.

Finally got out this evening, cool, breezy and damp, very slight drizzle. Knees playing up a little bit. Easy pace for 3.2 miles - my very first 5k covered without any walking. Doesn't sound much I know but for me it's an achievement and a goal now ticked. :-)

Went out this evening for just over 8 miles. Totally soaked to the skin, but loved it. Felt good. Riot training tomorrow.................
