When mine went I took them back to the shop and they replaced them with no problems. I had run about 100 miles in them. Trainers should last at least 300 +

Dear me, my shoes probably have a couple of years left in them! Really enjoyed my run today but still can't keep the HR down. I even sprinted the last half mile to see if I would have a new MAX but it didn't get higher than 177. Feeling a bit confused again about this HR training. I don't seem to be going according to plan.

Slow, gentle and wet A little lad on a scooter raced me along the road for a while, it was really sweet. I think he was the same lad who often sits on a low garden wall and shouts things at me as I run, like 'you're really quick!' and 'wow you run a long way'.

Intervals tonight. Only did 1 mile warm up and 4 x 800m, as I didn't want to make my legs hurt too much.
Won't be able to run for the next 3 days as I will be away in Wales visiting my son and it is my wife's birthday, etc.
Training will be back in full swing next week.
