Well done you too BM on the 16 miles. Possible that your HRM strap isn't contacting properly; either that or you are VERY fit!

just want to make you all laugh
I'm reading Athletics weekly about the Great North Run This is a direct quote
"Back in the fun runners Liz McColgan clocked 80.40. a winner of the race 14 years ago in 68.53,she was raising money for Luukemia Reasearch"
For the record only just over 100 men broke 80 mins in this race.
If only I could fun run like Liz!!!!!!!!

Oh bugger did a 10k this morning and pulled my calf on the L again. poo
I bet Liz McColgan doesn't have to out up with pulls and strains like we mere mortals. Of course my theorey is this: I must be a much better runner than she is because I am out there for twice as long. I've only just warmed up and she has got into the shower - pussy!

Fun runners indeed
If that's fun running then what does my running equate to total hilarity or simply too daft to laugh at?

We are a long way behind the "really good" or elite athletes or whatever but in the end I run for fun. Doesn't stop me trying to be the best I can be and it shouldn't stop anyone else.
