I've always got away too slow at CP. A few years ago, I took almost 8 minutes for the first mile because of the crowds, but then did the other 9 in almost exactly 1 hour to finish just a few seconds behind my pb.

I'd hardly call it a waste of time TMW...
I can understand you feel fed up because you have been training so hard and you didn't get what you wanted.
Nevertheless you did the ten miles in 1:08:22 which is a good time, ok so not as good as you wanted but much better than I can currently do by some 10 minutes or so...

Too cold this morning. Luckily it was only a 3 mile run.
Up until about 3 years ago, I was never completely satisfied with my races, even when I got a pb. Everyone got on at me to not be so hard on myself. I tried that and have only got 1 pb in the last 3 years. Trouble with me is that I need to be unhappy with my performances to improve even more. Fingers crossed that Sunday will give me a pb, but I will still think I could have done better.

Oh, I just realised I haven't said "Well Done" yet Gobi. That is very impressive, well done. Of course you will be beating that next time around.
