Cold though! - Some of the local runners weren't showing a patch of skin and must have thought me made in a T-shirt and shorts (they were probably right) - at least I had remembered my gloves. Got to consider myself very lucky.

Not too busy other than a huge group of school kids causing a little hold up in ashes hollow but not too bad. Plenty of other fell runners foot prints (sad;- the fool recognises treads off fell shoes) Saw the wild Long Mynd ponies. Quadds suffered on the final steep descent, quite knackered by the finish. CRACKING
