Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Dylan the dog trotted along as I padded through the forest tracks, dodged under the fallen trees, skipped through the mud- what a lark- and slogged my slow way to the top of Meikle Bin on the Campsie Hills.

Drained the Camelbak dry as I approached the end of the run. Enjoyed the post run banana and shake and even the exploding isotonic drink bottle didn't wipe the shine off.

And my ITB knee thingy didn't play up.
All told, just great.

Nice gentle run along the river, lots of swans with signets bobbing about. Lots of other jolly runners out and most said hello which was nice! Met g.man for breakfast at nice place had lovely toast and marmalade and coffee. Perfect start to the day :):)

Three laps of five miles, with some intervals afterwards up and down a very windy ex-RAF airfield to make up a 20-mile total.

Checked to see that my new gels don't give me the squits. Happy with them...

Soft rain and no wind. Long sleeves and wet through. Gentle pace and empty streets. Great.

Really good fun... :o) Started a new 16-week marahon plan last week (JD) and did some really hard but beneficial sessions including a crazy long run yesterday which had 5 x 5 min intervals at the beginning - followed by an hour's more running (feel that lactate!!) So this evening was just a 'how I feel little 5-miler'... had some good tunes recently downloaded including Nickelback's 'This Afternoon' which I am loving to sing along to... :o)

Welcome to Fetch RunRosRun! :-)

The best things come in threes - so today's run was actually three runs.
1. Twelve miles through across wild Rannoch Moor from Bridge of Orchy to Glencoe.
2. Three 800+ft reps of the "Devil's Staircase" - a 1.1 mile steep section of the whw
3. A couple of slow miles through steep woodland paths at the bottom of Glencoe in the sunshine.
