Drained the Camelbak dry as I approached the end of the run. Enjoyed the post run banana and shake and even the exploding isotonic drink bottle didn't wipe the shine off. And my ITB knee thingy didn't play up. All told, just great.

Lots of other jolly runners out and most said hello which was nice! Met g.man for breakfast at nice place had lovely toast and marmalade and coffee. Perfect start to the day :):)

RunRosRun Jul 2010 10:34pm, 19 Jul 2010 3 posts	Quote Pin RunRosRun Really good fun... :o) Started a new 16-week marahon plan last week (JD) and did some really hard but beneficial sessions including a crazy long run yesterday which had 5 x 5 min intervals at the beginning - followed by an hour's more running (feel that lactate!!) So this evening was just a 'how I feel little 5-miler'... had some good tunes recently downloaded including Nickelback's 'This Afternoon' which I am loving to sing along to... :o)

Twelve miles through across wild Rannoch Moor from Bridge of Orchy to Glencoe. 2. Three 800+ft reps of the "Devil's Staircase" - a 1.1 mile steep section of the whw 3. A couple of slow miles through steep woodland paths at the bottom of Glencoe in the sunshine.
