Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Radcliffe AC ten-mile trail race, with almost 1000 ft of climbing - and all in Gtr Manchester! Metered out the effort just about right and enjoyed this new, superbly organised event. Check out the club's 10k MT race in April :)

12 mile LSR with Puffing Bertie, Speedy Mel, Katec and Deerain. From Bushy Park along the banks of the Thames to Walton RC and back to and around Bushy Park, great chat, lovely pace and a show-off sprint to finish!!! :-)

A good miler, incorporating a nice stint in Richmond Park...my left hamstring and the bit behind my knee feel a bit odd now though.

too much, The Long Mynd Valleys fell race, kinell! 11.5 miles 4500ft climbing, ooh it hurt. The start was bad enough, found myself too near the front, so all the fast people came past me. My Walshes have seen better days, and I was slipping and slidding all over the place, took several dives.

Completely blew on the last climb (of 7 all v hard & steep), really, really suffered, walking on a downhill bit, my descending skills deserted me, I was feeling in quite a bad way.

Looking forward to next year! :-)
