10 miles for me too! Perfect autumn day - cool, dry & calm - up the trail from Waterloo, past the Coastguards' & on to the submerged forest by the Alt estuary About face & over high dunes & superb trails to the beach to marvel at the sun's fiery exit into the sea far away. Just enough light for a mile on the sand, then back home via the cycle trail.

When I got up this morning it was grey, threatening rain and I was apprehensive about going out - I read a few posts on here and thought 'man up' , ran from Kingston to Richmond along the towpath, the sun started to come out, back round through Richmond park, Coldplay all the way - 13.1 miles,I loved every single step of it and made me realise how much I love running - good thread & thanks for the inspiration
