Gentle 16.08 mile run for me. Didn't get home until nearly 12:30am from work after a 11 hour shift and was out the door before 5:30am. Legs a bit heavy and it was far warmer than it has been recently (said 13C last night at midnight on a thermometer) so didn't do the full 20 miles. Still, just over 41.5 miles for the week which is OK.

Indeed Ian and I'm spoilt for choice given where I live - though there is the risk of me getting lost on some of the tracks - almost did so today - and almost knocked over by some psycho mountain bikers. The enjoyment is the main thing imho Ian - that is why I wanted to have a go at trail/fell running

a mix of trails, grassland and beach by the Mersey estuary - damp, grey & still but, even so, plenty to enjoy - and a couple of deranged mutts to pacify. i don't even bother pursuing the issue these days.
