5.24 miles looping around St James Park with a 3 mile tempo in the middle section. Spent a lot of time dodging tourists around Horseguards and Buck Palace.

I went to the club track on my own , ( just needed a break ), so instead of taking the car , I ran the mile there, couldn’t get warm, and did an hour with the club members and then run back home - hardly got warm at all -
Legs , calves and thigh muscles were very stiff , so kept the pace reasonable -
Though I suppose even though I wanted a break on my own - as I’m used to taking Phillip to the track, psychologically I never settled
All in all, a good evening and well worth it -

7 miles hillwork in the snow!!!! Didn't warm up until halfway through the second hill. Exhilerating!

supposed to do 9 but cut it short when the hail/sleet started. 28 miles for the week so far.
