Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Yeah, it was ok......5 miles of 8 on a midweek LSR done at 6am this morning.......knackered, not enough sleep and suddenly had to turn back due to a very very strong urge to go to the loo.

Very slow 10.19 miler for me today. Only ran 5 miles in the last 10 days due to knee problems and I seem to have lost loads of fitness. Fairly hard going and took a few shortish walk breaks to catch my breath.
Started off too quickly, tried to slow down and somehow ended up even faster than before!
Will possibly have nice easy 5 mile run tomorrow before hopefully a good 20+ mile run on Saturday - marathon in 2 and a half weeks and today's performance doesn't fill me with much hope for a good time!

A 7 mile recovery run. Started off with aching legs after yesterdays tough run, but after a couple of miles they felt better and the rest of the run was quite relaxing.

Mix of forest trail, beach and dunes at Formby Point. Great running conditions, apart from apparently being shot at - turned out it was squaddies on a firing range - phew! Beach looked huge and the breakers added to the scene.
10.5 miles - a sound way to mark the last day of my hols - back to college, marking and enrolment tomorrow. :(
