Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Mick ran solo tonight
Phillip was with the nurse, Mrs Mick was at college SO ,

I actually joined Stratford ac tonight for an approximate 90 minute run i think it was - we ran partly on road, and river paths and cross country

It was just fantastic to have some ME time and be out at times leading a group of runners - digging in on the cross country, and sweeping up some hills

Actually made me feel like human again, felt the cool breeze, saw the white clouds in a blue sky
saw the birds , heard them twittering , looked at the trees and fields and thought, this is life -

this is what i did for years - and i still LOVE it - in my own time , at my own pace - where, when and how i want

I'm now tired and relaxed

Intervals and I really struggled...I had nothing in my legs and my co-ordination seemed all over the place!!! It was hard work from start to finish and I had to be a little inventive and flexible. I started on 800Ms but dropped to 400s after struggling through 3 lots of 800s. Ended up doing 3 x 800m with 60 secs recovery and 5 x 400m with 60 secs recovery.
