Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

6 and a bit miles - roads and parks. Mostly flat. Why is it so much harder to run slower than what feels like 'natural' pace? Felt more tired than when I run it too fast. And now my thigh hurts. I thought running slower stopped me over training injury? *Sulks* It was a nice evening though, pretty out. :)

I've just done slightly over 10 miles. My third run sijnce Edinburgh and my legs still feel a little bit shaky / weak but are improving. Got forced to stop at a main road after 8.5 miles or so which is a pain and saw 5 other people out running between 6:30am and 7:30am. Hilly half marathon on Sunday which should be fun.

I did one mile last night, my first since Edinburgh and I was in bits. Both of my knees were screaming, I was outsprinted in the las 50meters by the Man-Child something that has never happened.

I'm scared I might never run again....

Intended to got out and run 7.6 miles but ended up doing 3.9 and will do 3.8 tonight. I wanted to do the full distance today but have been thinking about doing a middle distance run split in two parts across the day. Is this good.. I want to go faster tonight.... Could this help my endurance?.. It will defo help my motivation having to get out the door twice in one day!!

Tour of central London Parks - St James Park, Green Park, Hyde Park and Regents Park. Felt rubbish until about 5 miles (that was 8am) but improved for next 5 miles.
