Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

five mile recovery run- felt a bit tired, but that may be because i've run more miles this month than ever before.

Excellent, I went out with the intention of doing a 5 mile gentle plod but I felt great and so turned it into a tempo run, the middle 3 miles done at about 9min/mile ... poor by some standards but bleeding impressive for me seeing as I only started running in Nov and have been plagued with injuries.

I'm rather pleased with my progress :-)

Ok, I had a day off to rest my injured shoulder after having had cortisone injection last night. I went out with the dog this afternoon for a steady 10K. Got home and decided to fix the side gate, ok so far, then I ripped the nail of my left index finger. I should've gone to work!!!!

A disastrous start to the month started on a 4 mile loop in hurricane wind and blizzard one mile in eyes being stung by ice particles , met a lake on the road I had taken with rolling waves. Had to turn around and back to base as would have been cut off if I had'nt left moors straight away. Hardest 24 mins Ive ever run! then took 2 1/2 hours to drive 33miles home.
