Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I ran the Stubbington 10K, I started out too fast and started to feel sick on the last 3K and nearly gave up, nearly... I kept going and thought I was really going to throw up at the end.
A big thankyou to the "TWAT" who gobbed on me, if you really must spit, look to to see who's near you. Why do people, mostly men feel the must spit every few yards?

Very very windy, steep, up to tops of shoes in massive pools of cow poo churned with mud....in other words, quite good! At least it wasn't raining.

Better than yesterday. I met up with some friends and that always helps. We did about 6 miles together, 9.5 total for me.

Sore! I fell over at just 0.6m in (although I wasn't planning on going very far), cut my hands and bruised my left leg (luckily didn't fall on abdomen), so had to be abandoned as my hand was bleeding copiously. Euggh. Will have to do a bit more tomorrow.

"Will have to do a bit more tomorrow" - That's the spirit libby!

5.x(my Garming said 5.23) miles around Woodbank Park for the 4th Manchester Area XC League. Loved every minute of it apart from the killer mud hill towards the end of each lap. Thanks Stockport Harriers for another great event at Woodbank Park.

Was going to treat it as a training run as I'm recovering from a cold and missed loads of Xmas training, but discovered that starting off slow is a great way to enjoy a race and get a better time.
