Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Well done LL - I told you that you would get a PB.

My 20 mile run was really good. I panicked a bit as I was only starting it at 8:05am and I had to be at work at 12:00pm, which is two miles away from home and I was intending to walk to work. The first five miles seemed really hard and I was averaging over 9 minutes per mile, so I thought I was going to be late for work. From 5 miles onwards, the time per mile went down almost for every mile. The first 10 miles was done in 1:30 and the last 10 miles in 1:25, by which time I was feeling very comfortable, even if the legs were beginning to tire a bit.

Luckily I was able to have the car to drive to work and get there on time :-)

1st 10 mile race today, you could probably write the report yourselves, its the same as all my others. Went off lightning fast, paid for it in 2nd half, did some walking, super sprint finish. Missed my target by 3 seconds but overall very happy with 1:25:03!

Brilliant at the London 5k Hydro. Didn't beat Paula but did improve my PB from 30:08 to 27:40. I almost feel like a runner now!

Wet! (Glasgow half-marathon, pleased with sub-2h time but think I have trench-foot).
