Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Bit of a struggle to be honest.

Had picked up various ailments from the smaller O'Shay's and had felt too rubbish to run. All of this after telling Mrs O'Shay that 'I never seem to get cold's anymore....with all this running mallarkey'!

Still, it was nice to get out

I ran off my cold tonight.

300 at 1 mile pace (100m recovery) and 600 @ 5k pace. 6 sets of these were pretty challenging.

I feel great for doing it though!

Intervals again. Very cold, but for some reason I really enjoy the intervals sessions. Everyone is really friendly at the track :-)

Very pleasant thank you. In the sunshine, no encounters with plebs/cretins or neanderthals. Bonus! :-)

:-( Carp :-(

I had my first 10 miler planned, my legs were rested and the weather purfec'.
However, I struggled from the moment I started. I wanted to go home at 2 miles.
I kept going until I got to a measly 4 miles and it hurt.
My breathing just wasn't right, my leg muscles felt like they were going to snap.
Maybe its because of "girlie" things, or maybe it because the world was so grey today.
I think I might give up running until the spring. (Maybe I have a bit of S.A.D).

To top it off, I have to go to work on my day off!

Sorry to bring the thread "down"
