Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Eh up Solitude Fairy - I take it you recovered from Cardiff then? My hamstring has not been the same sice - I'm certain it led to me pulling my calf 7 days ago.

I went for a jog around Sawston today (Cambs) - my dad showed me a trail run on the map so I did about 2-3 miles. Nice and slow short trot to get some blood to my calf and foot. Autumn is beautiful, even in Southern Subhurban hell!

Good. 1 mile warm up and then 4 x 1/4 mile repeats with 1/4 mile recovery inbetween
The hard bits averaged 6:30mm

none today only a cycle-that was a work commute. Had a good one last night though as in last 24 hours does it count? A hard 7 miler. The slow pack-that's me et al beat home everyone else. Always a cause for smugness as fast ones always ask if we cut off early.

OK. I did a niightime run in unfamiliar territory (Sawston, suburban hell where my parents moved to 3 yrs ago).

I wore flourescents and was lit up like an Xmas tree. When it got to dark areas I had my firs instance of "oncomming vehicle can't be arsed to dip his headlights for a runner, I can't see where my feet are going" so far this year. Had to turn around and change course.

Just managed 2K on treadmill at gym...no adverse reaction from last nights run. No pain during the run and no pain (so far) post run... :-)
