I think sometimes other things are more important than a loss and carb loading for a target race and family stuff trumps a diet. I took years to put all the weight on, its an ultra to do so its probably best to think of it as an ultra or at least a marathon to take it off rather than a sprint

I have started getting very nice compliments that I am looking healthy and have I lost weight!! It feels nice!! Had a fantastic treat out - lovely Italian meal, was utterly amazing!! tomorrow is my last WI as fat club is not running for two weeks!!! I am really scared so going to drive to another town to get weighed in, 2-3 lbs on will take me a month to lose!! Just looking at a 100 mile cycle event next spring, every lb off is a lb that I am not carrying with me should make it easier right??
