RIP Niki Lauda. At only 70 does anyone know if such an early death was in part due to damage sustained in his accident? It said he had liver, kidney and lung transplants in the last decade. Organ damage due to impact, burns and/or smoke? Anyway, always seemed a very straight talking guy and an amazing racer. Apparently gave some support and encouragement to Hamilton when he first came to Mercedes too. RIP.

I don't know what the C4 programme was that purported to be Monaco GP qualifying on Sunday night. It showed as recording but wasn't in my Recordings and when I looked at the schedule I couldn't see it. Could I have been looking at next weekend, somehow?! What a doof!

Lauda's return to racing must be the ultimate 'get back on the horse after falling off' decision. It seems he suffered to some extent or other throught the rest of his life but was still fulfilled and successful.

I guarantee no spoilers!!

I got the dish about 3 years ago for about £25 for just this reason - but we moved stuff around the house so I needed to get the feed to a new room; success!!

Who'd have thought Hill would come out of retirement and snatch pole today ;-) ?
