Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Just read a comment that he's now retired from 5 consecutive slams. That really is cruel luck.

Just turned back to the tennis as he retired. Seems 'odd' interviewing Sinner though. Sinner handled it well though

That was really awful to watch. He was in so much pain and knew it was over immediately. Sinner’s reacted very appropriately I thought.

Basically set parameters, and simple statistics, like he's about a 75% chance to win each set. .75 ^ 3 = close to a coin flip. Odds won't change much unless JamieKai chameleon wrote:Still wouldn't rule Sinner out regardless of his iffy elbow. this kind of injury type thing happens. Sometimes, I do find it remarkable that otherwise the bookies rarely adjust for what's actually going on in front of their eyes. (and that goes for virtually any sports).

You’ll have to talk me through that slowly.

Wow - really good semi-final between Sabalenka and Anisimova! :-)

The 2nd one was sadly a bit of an anti-climax...

This might be interesting for the locals on here. Interview with Kevin Ullyett, retired pro tennis player, about what it's really like to survive on the tour. I'm not a huge tennis fan and I thought it was very good.
