Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

A long while back I confused a chap's BMW with BMC. He was very offended.

Stuck in a very wet field in the Lake District after an event, where every vehicle is having to be towed out by Landrovers and the ground is completely churned up mud, is not the time to find out that the towing eye you have does not actually fit your vehicle!

Luckily someone else was stupid enough to have taken a BMW and his fitted, but correct one now ordered. (Normally its me in the LR doing the towing, but 400 miles is a long way away in a Series III Landrover)

MrsC's wee rollerskate (2011 Astra J) threw a shoe yesterday. Offside front spring is now ⅔ of a coil shorter than it was. Guess what my new betwixt plans include…. ~rolls eyes~

You probably know the advice Angus - if one side has gone, do both as the other side has had the same wear and tear.
