Then I fell coming off High Rigg on icy grass, must have slid for about 20 yards, bruised hip, all the colours of the the rainbow.

My feet went from under me and I fell backwards straight down (fortunately in some ways as I didn’t have time to stiffen up). I was well padded so no real harm done, just a bit stiff the next couple of days

Fortunately no damage apart from a minor graze on my knee. Managed to avoid going head first into a bus stop so that was a good thing!
