It had to happen sooner or later, I came a cropper on my run this evening. Tripped on a raised curb stone. Manage to get my arms to absorb most of the impact so didn’t draw blood. I guess running another 10 miles after a 10mile race this morning might have fired me slightly! :-)

Your body was obviously hinting hard at needing a lie down.

Thanks for pointing me in this direction on my blog Chunky! I feel right at home!

Had an epic slide in the mud in this morning's run... Mud all up my back, bumped my head and have a very sore wrist now 😭 currently trying to work and convincing myself I don't need anything looked at by a professional 🙄

I remember I fell over in town once on my lunch break. I had no excuse, I was staring at my phone playing Pokémon Go and tripped over a dodgy paving stone. I came back to work and blubbed at my desk. At least at the moment I can blub at my desk and no-one I'm messaging can tell. Unless I have a little quiver in my Skype typing and they have a wobbly-bottom-lip-sensor.

Remember RICE your wrist, Em. Hope you heal well. Headbonks aren't good. Try not to poke at it to see if it's gone down yet, like I do. [rolls eyes]

Head much better this morning, although kept waking me up last night. Still hurts if I poke it! 😖

Wrist stopped me driving this morning, so if still incapacitated later I'll go to walk in center, get it checked out 🤕

Went for a run this morning, didn't hurt any more than just sitting, so I think I'm good!

And, bonus... I stayed upright the whole way! 🥳🥳

Fell over twice last week - first time in over a decade. Once on a tree root, soft surface, no damage other than a bit of dirt. A couple of days later, clipped the edge of a paving stone, hit the ground at speed, split lip, cuts on my fingers and blood pouring from my knee. Couldn't run for a couple of days until the knee had scabbed over properly. At least I can wear shorts round the house, not sure I would've been able to wear trousers if I'd been going to work.
