Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

So many new things people are trying, it's lovely to see. We got the girls out for one of our lesser visited local walks, halfway around I suggested we tried a new path despite not knowing where it went. The girls thought I'd lost it! It was a bit muddier that the usual route but got us pretty much where we wanted to be. Can't believe we've not explored more before.

I’ve not kept up with the thread properly today, but lots of great newts! I wasn’t really sure I had one (other than using the ‘add image’ feature), but I did also wear sunglasses on my run this afternoon for the first time this year.

JEB, I haven’t tried that particular one, but I did have a tiramisu recently. Also had a coffee and vanilla one which was lovely, and an Irish Cream one which I though may be a bit much but was also very tasty (I realise this is making me sound like one of the newts Baroness mentions, I should emphasis these were all drunk on different days/weeks)

Not really a newt but having done some tidying up, I found an embroidery kit which I'm never going to do so has been gifted to a friends daughter at uni to give her something else to do. Apparently, she loves embroidery so a win/win all round.

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
