Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

the loud voice is used whenever I finish making tea or I encounter a spider but I reckon I can go do a Sharkie howl on my run today

The list photo is around 1/5 of the total number of practices. Some of the practices are exactly as the title describes but some of them aren’t. Which is kinda sneaky 😀

Good morning all!

So many great Newts yesterday, it was hard to pick a winner....

we had EP's teacup/pot china affair, sparkign a positive flurry of new tea posts!
we had HP's neuroscience newt
Mrs Jigs Simnel cake looked amazing!
as did Gimmemedals blackjack lolloes, extra points for a brave lolly choice there!

Lots of spring blooms, but i award the newt of the day as WA for good use of the word "CROCI"

Loving the fresh spring green energy on this thread btw, it’s a proper lacklustre lockdown antidote :)

indeed fleecy and we need that
I had to go to the office yesterday to get a monitor as mine died
Actually spoke to someone in person and loved it. Mentioned it to hubby who took the piss
I then realised that as I mentioned on here I really have only spoken to husband and the butcher for the last 12 mths with minimal other contact with people I actually know in person. That's very sad. And for the last 12 mths mother has complained about not seeing people!
anyway positive thoughts for today

I know what you mean EP. We had our annual boiler service a week or so ago and I chatted to the service engineer as I took him through to the utility room - and it was such a novelty to have an actual conversation with someone different.

OOOO, just remembered I have an optician's appointment at lunch time.

I shall be ordering some newt specs, though it'll be a while until I'll actually have them.

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
