Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

8th November. Earliest ever for round here.

Two trees up and decorated on our dog walk, just. Stay classy, Coventry 😝

Residential place trees not in a shop or pub or establishment….

Anyone else spotted a place of residence tree yet?

Noted in my training log on 4 November: “Saw my first house lit up for Christmas. Saddos.” Fairy lights all over the facade and garden, large Christmas tree in porch, decorations on windows.

I have see a few sets of outside lights. I think this is an extension of keeping them up after Christmas as a way of brightening things up. Emotional nonsense.

Not noticed a tree. I think my pet conifer tree in the pot outside the back door is big enough for lights, he is 3 years old now. Time he earned his keep.

I saw a Xmas tree up in someone's house last Thursday. Before bonfire night! We won't put ours up until December.

So far, I've only seen Christmas trees in places that sell Christmas trees. And ours, which has been up all year.

I've recently been to three different garden centres with my mum. Not all on the same day fortunately! They already have their Christmas selection out... lots of expensive trees and decorations!

Big, big fan of Christmas, but this early in November is too early in November. I have to wait for my dads birthday next week, then it can begin!

In the meantime, Christmas tree watch is on!
