Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

It will be vegan for us and I wouldn’t rule out beans on toast, we are often at a premier inn Christmas Day having done parkrun tourism so take a buffet with us, at home this year but might still do buffet :-)

I like cooking Christmas dinner and it's so much easier now there are only 6 of us - though I'd rather cook for 7 and dad was here too :( .

I usually love making all the family tradition cakes and biscuits and puds as well - but there aren't enough of us to eat them all now.

I love sprouts - I have 4 plants growing in the garden, growing them myself means I can just cut off however many I fancy with my tea whenever I fancy them - this makes me :)

sprouts and bacon would be a fine tea, DT - though my menfolk wouldn't agree!

My wife introduced me to baked sprouts. Just half them, sprinkle with olive oil and season. I like sprouts but these are far better!

We did the sprouts in the oven last year, much better than boiled mush. All the veg is nice roasted rather than boiled.

Mouth watering at the thought of DQ's dumpling 🤤.

I read somewhere, no idea where, that some tins of beans aren't vegan...you need to check, or depends how strict you are, veggie for sure though. Basically, anything in a tin needs checking.....
