I’ve read about the issues of trying to lock up but think I’d just take it with me at all times or avoid going anywhere I can’t.

It is mainly my town bike, for cafes, pubs and restaurants although I did one night away by train/bike on it which was fun. I quickly learned that it's easier to unfold and push it than to carry it any distance if possible!
