Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Last year was perfect to be honest. Cold and sunny and windless.
Just warmed up a bit at the end for when you are starting to shut down.

I've been almost tea-total since New Years Day, Mrs W. 1 drink will probably be enough!

Bit of a long shot but I was just wondering if anyone had accommodation booked in Brighton that they won't be needing now. My daughter and her boyfriend have kindly offered to come and support me but they need somewhere to stay. I can see a few places available in Eastbourne so that would do if nothing else is available but it would be better if they were closer.

Deejay try hotels in Hassocks, Burgess Hill even Gatwick by train no more than 30mins away. May be cheaper.

Lewes has some places that aren't too pricey...and it's only about 15 mins away by train. That's where I'm staying on Sat night.

Thanks guys. :-)

I was actually starting to believe I might be running my first marathon at Brighton after my 20 miler seemed to go o.k. yesterday. But my it band is giving me no end of grief today. I could hardly walk the dog. :-(

Doing lots of foam rollering and stretching now ...

Thanks Tracey. I've got a massage booked for tomorrow evening. Should have been on Saturday after my long run but it was cancelled. I'm prepared for lots of pain!
